Kathy Bailey, 64, went into the Lord's arms on December 21, 2020 after a two year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born March 12, 1956, in Akron, daughter of the late Tom and Poldina (Srba) Staggers.
Preceded in death by daughter Randi; mother-in-law, Julia Bailey; brother-in-law, Michael Kerlik, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins; and very special friend, Dolores Kensinger. Survived by husband of 43 years, Bruce Bailey; granddaughter, Alyssa; father-in-law, Bob Bailey; sister-in-law, Karen (Bailey) Kerlik; niece and nephew by marriage, Melissa Kerlik (Adam) Massingale; great nephew, Gabriel Massingale; niece/God child and nephew by marriage, Brittany Kerlik (Sean) Virani; many cousins and friends.
Kathy found joy, laughter and comfort in all of her past and present furry four legged friends and the newest energetic puppy, Mayhem, that gave Kathy so much comfort in her last months.
Kathy graduated from Ellet High School in 1974 and the University of Akron in 1977. She worked as a secretary for Keegan Purcell Studio of Dance; a bus driver/terminal manager for Springfield School system; and worked side by side for 28 years with husband, Bruce as the owners of Meal Ticket. She will miss her dear customers and friends.
