Kathy P. Starcher, 67, passed away February 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Tommy; sons, Tommy and his wife, Tammy, and Timmy; her very loving and special grandsons, Alan and Tommy Lee; sisters, Angie and Lou Novekoff, Gracie and Ken Hamm, and Loretta and Jeff Wilson; step-sister, Lisa Baker; step- brothers, Bobby and Ricky Baker; many loving aunts and uncles; and many other loving family members and close friends. A special thanks to Keri Wade, Kim Leipold, and all the other hospice nurses that took care of our wife and mother at her time of need. Calling hours will be held Friday, February 17, from 10 am to 12 noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a service to follow at 12 noon with Pastor Chris McCombs officiating. Interment at Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
