Katie Maloney, 33, passed away from this life into her glorious life in heaven on June 25, 2018. Katie was born October 23, 1984 to Susan Maloney and the late Bill Maloney.
Katie graduated from Springfield High School and currently attended United Disability Services. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Katie taught us many lessons, the greatest being her ability to love unconditionally. Katie was a sweet and gentle soul, whose smile and laughter lit up our lives.
Katie is survived by her mother, Susan; special sister, Bobbie Grimm; Aunt Lynda (Tom) Angerstien; Great-Uncle Ned (Cheryl) Palm; Grandpa Wm. F. Maloney; Great-Aunt Marilyn Elliott and cousin Dave Elliott; Aunts and Uncles Pat (Linda) Maloney and John (Cindy) Maloney; Kathy (Bret) Moore; cousins Tommy, Steve, Sarah, Olivia, Keefe, Elizabeth, Johnny, Arian and Genevieve and a host of friends.
I know sweetheart that your body has been restored and that you and Dad are incredibly happy to be together again. The image of you both fills my heart with joy. My only sadness is that my arms are empty. Thank you for the extraordinary privilege of being your mom.

Memorial services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 West Market St., Akron on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm with calling hours in the Parish Hall from 10 am until noon. There will be a reception following the service at the church.
