Kay L. Hartman

Today another angel went home to be with the Lord. Kay L. Hartman, 66, passed away on April 8, 2016. She was born in Akron, OH on July 23, 1949 to parents Ken William Huffman and the late Elizabeth Josephine Miller. Kay loved butterflies, Elvis, Funny Stop comedy club, dancing, country music, yard sales, her family and friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny Huffman Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Ron; daughter, Tami (Greg) Smith; sister, Linda (Ed) Snyder; grandchildren, Cody and Austin Smith; nephew, Ed (Lisa) Snyder; niece, Shari (Jay) West; great-nephews, Scott and Douglas Snyder, Gavin West; great-nieces, Sarah and Cindy Snyder, Brianna West.

Family will welcome guests on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Mike Shaub officiating. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery, Akron.
