Keith C. Trares, 59, resident of Green, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014. He was born February 5, 1954 in Norwalk, Ohio to Frank and Mary (Schnellinger) Trares. Keith retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as an engineer and held many patents over his career. He enjoyed golfing, cards with friends and family and gardening.
Keith is survived by his parents, wife Kathy Trares, children; Daniel (Jennifer) Trares of Solon, Ohio, Eric (Michelle) Trares of Akron, Ohio, Andrew Cacioppo of Alameda, California, Nicole (David) Dinan of Akron, Ohio, 5 grandchildren, brothers; Kevin (Denise) Trares, Craig (Sue) Trares and Duane (Sarah) Trares, brother-in-law Bob Perkins, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Elaine Perkins.
Friends may call 4:00 to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305 where a service will be held immediately following at 6:30 pm.
