Kelley James, age 60 of Akron, finally went home to be with her loving mother, Sandy on December 24, 2021.
Kelley was born on August 28, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to David and Sandra (Meadows) James. Kelley graduated from East High School and worked as a Unit Secretary at Akron City Hospital for several years. Kelley loved her cats, Aggravator and Presley. She had a great sense of humor and never knew a stranger. Kelley enjoyed watching movies and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley's Gospel music.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Kelley will be missed by her siblings, Scott James, and Elizabeth (Michael) Daugherty, nieces and nephews, and her very dear friend, Vickie Cobb-James.
We hope Kelley is pain-free and finally at peace.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
