Kelly A. Simpson

August 13, 1968 — August 16, 2022

Kelly A. Simpson-Fuller, beloved wife, daughter, sister, cousin and friend, age 54 of Akron Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2022. Kelly was born on August 13, 1968 to Thomas and Patricia (Krauterbluth) Simpson in Kenmore, New York. Kelly graduated from Springfield Local High School in 1986. Kelly met her husband Kevin Fuller in 2005 and they were married on July 15, 2007.

Kelly was predeceased by her parents Thomas Simpson and Patricia (Krauterbluth) Simpson. She is survived by husband Kevin Fuller, brother Lee Simpson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members who love her.

Kelly's laughter can still be heard by all who have known her; everyone was considered family by Kelly, and she loved ferociously. Friendly nomads who needed a place on Thanksgiving had a seat at her table. Spending Holy Night at Christmas with her Polish family was a cherished tradition, and of course, cheese and potato pierogi were a favorite part of the meal, for Kelly. Over many summers as a child and teenager, Kelly joined maternal family at Linwood Park in Vermilion Ohio; here she enjoyed time on the beach and searched for special rocks to add to her collection. As an adult, Kelly spent time each summer at Pennsic; here she enjoyed time with friends who celebrated medieval life reenactment.

When she wasn't working in various customer service jobs, Kelly greatly enjoyed crafting, cooking and baking, and of course, her kitties. Kelly was also passionate about music; her favorite band was most certainly The Police, and the artist Sting. Kelly had music playing, always. She enjoyed playing the video game Animal Crossing. At last count, she logged more than 3,000 hours.

A Celebration of Kelly's Life will be held in fall 2022. Details will follow once confirmed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Kidney Foundation.

The family invites you to sign the guest book and share fond memories.
