Kelly Swaino, age 51, of Conventry Twp., Ohio, passed away March 17, 2017 after a courageous battle with diabetes and vascular disease.
She was an independent carrier for the Akron Beacon Journal and Westside Leader.
Preceded in death by her father, Orville Shue; succeeded in death by her cousin, Joseph Lancaster.
She leaves her mother, Becky Wood (Richard); sister, Kimberly Keith; sons, Matthew, Christopher (Katie), and daughter, Mariah Smith; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kari, Leland, Donovin, and Dylan; nieces, Ariel Keith, Taylor Glodde, and Rory Henrick; and the love of her life, David Swaino.
Per Kelly's wishes, she will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, where memorial services will begin at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Brenda Young will officiate.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to Dr. Jeff Kile and the South Central Family team for all of Kelly's care.
