Kelvin A. Fincham, 92, went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2016. He was born in Cassity, West Virginia on February 27, 1924 to the late Clarence and Mary Fincham. Kelvin was a U.S. Army veteran. During World War II he served with the 78th Division, Third Battalion, Company M and saw action at the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from Akron Trailer Manufacturing. Kelvin was a longtime member of the Church of God and most recently attended Lakeview Lighthouse Church. He loved his church and devoted much of his time and talents to the service of God. In addition to his parents, Kelvin was preceded in death by his sisters, Patty Jo and Delma Fincham; brothers, Coleman and James Fincham; and daughter, Kathryn Woods. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn; son, James (Carla) Fincham; daughter, Barbara Wright; siblings, Pauline Daniels, Elbert Lee Fincham, Maxine Tenney, Dortha Lee (Dillard) Campbell, Laura Jean (Loman) Smith, and Clyde (Eleanor) Fincham; grandchildren, Heather (Tony) Short, Justin Woods, Christy (Lee) Kuberacki, Joshua Webb, Jeremy (Tabitha) Fincham, and Nicholas Fincham; great-grandchildren, Liam, Brendan, Xalynn, Jakub, Lukas, and Cheyenne; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
