Kenneth Brad Adniskey was born on September 2, 1987 to his loving parents, Kenneth and Tina Adniskey in Akron, Ohio. He passed away suddenly on February 13, 2022. He was 34 years old.
Before Afghanistan, he was quite the character. Everyone who knew him, knew he was always up to something. Whether it was getting into trouble with his friends, harassing his sisters to no-end, tinkering around in the basement with his dad, coming up with some random scheme to try and make a quick buck, or seeing how much he could make his momma's eye twitch from all the accident prone and mischievous things he did. This Kenny was full of laughter and was the life of any party.
After Afghanistan, he changed. He saw too much, did too much, heard too much, and the burden was too heavy for him to bear. The Kenny we all knew was gone. He laughed less, smiled less, and became distant as PTSD and mental illness overtook him. There would be good days and bad days and his family and friends would cherish the good days when the Kenny we all knew would shine through.
There were few things that brought him some semblance of peace. Working on his Tahoe was one. It was his relentless passion to get the truck up and running so he could blast his stereo as he cruised around. The other was his nephews and niece. Through all his struggles and darkness, they were his light. He loved them more than anything in this world. Kyle, Jackson, Luke, and Katie were his everything.
There is never enough time. And there will forever be an emptiness in our hearts. Kenny will truly be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Tina Adniskey, sisters, Brandie Reedy and Alexandra (Keith) Eitner, nephews, Kyle, Jackson, and Luke, niece, Kaitlyn, and numerous family and friends.
