Kenneth Anderson

Kenneth C. Anderson, 70, of Akron, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2002. Mr. Anderson served in th U.S. Army as a medic during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of Mogadore VFW Post 8487 and was affiliated with the Soapbox Derby for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his son, John Anderson. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Helen; son, Tim (Carol) Anderson; daughters, Frances (Raymond) Anderson, Dorothy (David) Young, Patricia (Dennis) Batley, and Nancy Anderson; daughter-in-law, Mary Anderson; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Monday, August 19th from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Charles Billington officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park with military honors provided by Mogadore VFW Post 8487.
