Kenneth F. Catlette, age 86, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Ken was born in Akron, Ohio on November 2, 1936 to William and Lessie Catlette, where he grew up and spent his entire life along with his wife, Patty raising three children.
He attended Springfield High School. After high school Ken began his career at The Goodyear Tire and Rubber as a welder. After leaving Goodyear, he continued his career as a forklift mechanic in the Cleveland and Akron areas. During his life, Ken was active in the Ellet Youth Football organization, coaching his two boys. Along with Youth Football, Ken loved working on race car engines, building motors as well as racing. He also enjoyed watching and attending many NASCAR Races with his son and grandsons.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Bill, and his loving wife of 67 years, Patricia. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Jr. (Tracy) Catlette, Buddy (Suzanne) Catlette and Terri Catlette; grandchildren, Stacia (Keith) Waffen, Alicia (Collin) Schlosser, Sarah (Andy) Shirk, Kenneth F. Catlette III, Donnie (Tia) Rambler, Dave Rambler, Matt (Lauren Roach) Rambler and his great-grandchildren, Colton, Pyper, Hunter, Casey, Haleigh, Charlie, Meredith, J. J. Noah and Boston.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. The family suggest memorials be made in his honor to the charity of your choice.
