Kenneth Virgil Cottrell

Kenneth Virgil Cottrell, 87, of Cuyahoga Falls, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2017. He was born in Frametown, West Virginia on February 19, 1930. Kenneth served in the United States Navy on the USS Norton Sound. Kenneth retired from the Norton Company in March 1992, after 37 years of service.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved son, Dennis Cottrell, who passed away October 3, 2017.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 62 wonderful years, Margaretta; his daughter, Brenda (Richard) Ruhlin, of Akron; daughter-in-law, Shari Cottrell, of Murfreesboro, TN; step-granddaughters, Miranda Allison (fiance, Kyle) and Kaci Allison (fiance, Chris) of Murfreesboro, TN.

Friends and family are welcome to Grace Baptist Church 704 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron, 44306 on Monday December 18, 2017 to visit from 10am-11am. A funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Robert Stephens at 11am. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
