Kenneth D. Breen, Sr.
Kenneth D. Breen, Sr., a lifelong resident of Akron, passed away on November 24, 2009, after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; daughter, Carol; son, Joseph; brother, Don. He is survived by sons, James, Tom, Vern (Lynda), Kenneth, Jr. (Erica); 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was very active in St. Vincent Parish. He loved his Notre Dame Football and classic cars. He will be sadly missed by his family and numerous friends. Ken was a friend to all. We will miss his quirky jokes and quick wits. Rest in peace. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A funeral mass will be Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
