Kenneth James Dickey

Kenneth James Dickey, 55, passed away December 2, 2021 with his family by his side. Born in Duluth, Minnesota to Michael and Judith (Brown) Dickey, he resided in the Akron area much of his adult life after living in several places prior. Kenny was proud to be a U. S. Army Veteran and he loved stock car racing, building model cars, heavy metal music and watching the Rams play football. He was also a loving grandpa who loved to play with his grandkids.

Preceded in death by his father, Michael Dickey, he will be sadly missed by his partner of 12 years, Deidra Niessen; mother, Judy Dickey; brothers, Mike (Linda) Dickey, Bob (Olivia) Dickey; children, Hailey Niessen, Christopher Niessen, Michael Dickey; grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends and his dog, Shadow.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Kenny's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
