Kenneth Wayne Dronebarger

February 25, 1947 — December 1, 2021

Kenneth Wayne Dronebarger, age 74, passed away on December 1, 2021 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Kenny spent his life as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to the love of his life, Sandra Lee (Wilson) Dronebarger. Together they spent more than 50 years building the life they dreamed of. They loved vacationing, biking and most of all camping, especially when there were grandchildren involved. Although he worked hard to provide these things, he was very content in the simple things in life. He cherished his family and was intentional in creating a legacy for his children and grandchildren.

Kenny had a work ethic that was hard to match. He spent 43 years as a Lift Truck Operator at Ford Motor Company, which was one of his proudest accomplishments. He often bragged about how much he loved his job, his 45- minute drive to work, and all the friends he made along the way. He never met a person he didn't try to sell a Ford to, and we teased him often that he missed his calling as a car salesman. He was a man of great pride and humility. Of his material possessions, his home, truck and camper were among the things he appreciated the most. If he talked to you about any of these things, he was sure to remind you that things don't come easy and that hard work pays off.

He is probably most known for his outgoing personality. He never met a stranger who didn't become a friend. His life was an open invitation to know him better. If you had the pleasure of meeting him, you were instantly welcomed into his world. He fought for the good things in life: his marriage, his family, and anything else of great importance to him. He loved the Cleveland Browns, ice cream, coffee with too much cream and sugar, his puppies Bella and Tessi, $1 hot dogs, candied nuts, Barberton chicken, and reminding you that the hard things in life "build character".

In 2010, Kenny accepted Christ and declared his new commitment of faith by being baptized. He was greeted in heaven by his mom and dad, Claire and Marian Dronebarger; sister, Gloria Pleskach; brother, Larry Dronebarger, and several other family members. One day he will be welcoming us to a beautiful family reunion.

His legacy will live on through his wife, Sandy Dronebarger, children Kenny (Cindy) Dronebarger, David (Cathy) Dronebarger, Deanna (John) Shriver, Marcy (John) Bauer, many grandchildren, sister Ruby Foster, nieces, nephews, and the countless people he called friends.

Kenny's catch phrase was: "Life is Good". He believed that and we are grateful.
