Kenneth W. Durst, of Akron, Ohio, passed away June 12, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Grant Town, WV and the first of four sons to Nancy J. Toothman and Watson W. Durst. Ken was married to his wife, Kathleen M. Long in 1982 and welcomed his only daughter, Amanda C. (Durst) Croasmun in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, as well as two brothers, Gregory and David Durst. He leaves behind his wife Kathy, daughter Amanda (Andrew) Croasmun, and grandchildren, Molly Rose, Lucas Xavier, Ethan Michael. Ken will also be sadly missed by sister-in-law Christine Long, brother, Kevin (Suetta) Durst.
The family will be having a private graveside service. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Ken's name to The Holy Pursuit's Dream Foundation, 878 Hidden View Way, Morgantown, WV 26508.
