Kenneth Eugene Weaver, Sr.
Kenneth Eugene Weaver, Sr., 66, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was born in Saxton, PA on October 12, 1944 to the late Cloyd and Thelma Weaver. Kenneth was a talented mechanic and woodworker. In his free time he enjoyed building things, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, John "Jack" Weaver and sister, Deanna Allison. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Patty and his Sunshine, Skieler; children, Barb (Jim) Lewis, Nancy Weaver, Teresa (Chuck) Kitchen, Kenny Weaver, Jr., and Chris (Lisa) Weaver; sisters, Phyllis (George) Detwiler, Betty (Jack, deceased) Manda, Gladys (Pete) Ciarrocca, and Sandy (Ron) Randles; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1 followed by a 1 p.m. funeral service at Albrecht Avenue Church of God, 3357 Albrecht Ave., Rev. Robert Drummond officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
