Kenneth Linell Harris Sr.

Kenneth Linell Harris Sr., 60, went home to be with his Lord on August 8, 2021. Kenneth was a man of many talents. He could fix almost anything and had a special passion for working on cars. He also had a terrific sense of humor and a beautiful singing voice. Kenneth was employed at WoodSpring Suites and was a longtime member of Gates of Praise Worship Center. He took pride in his family and passed on to his children his work ethic, determination and ability to teach himself new skills. His family and friends were blessed to have him in their lives.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Joe Harris Sr. and grandchildren, Cristopher Wiseman and Kennon Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Zandra Harris; mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Nathaniel Calloway; daughter, Kia (Bryant) Johnson; son, Kenneth (Tiera) Harris Jr.; daughter, Kennita Harris; siblings, Rev. Dr. Joe (Mary) Harris Jr., Joetta (George Sr.) Fleming, Joseph (Geneva) Harris, Sonya (Lawrence) Champlin, Tracy Waller, Teresa Symes, Jalon (Jordan) Harris; grandchildren, Celeste (Jonathan) Duckett, Chris Wiseman, Aniyah Wiseman, Alex Johnson, Bryant Johnson Jr., Bryanna Johnson, Kavon Prigmore, Kinnie Prigmore, Kenneth Prigmore, Kaylee "LeeLeebug" Prigmore, Kannan Prigmore, Kalique Prigmore, Kaylow Prigmore, Kamron "Tiger" Prigmore, Karter "Tank" Prigmore, and Layla Prigmore; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including special friend, Stephanie Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 9-11 followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service with Rev. Willie Hawkins officiating and Bishop J.L.
