Kenneth R. Hymes

Kenneth R. Hymes, 84, of Akron, went to a better place on January 13, 2018, and joined his beloved wife, Donna Hymes. He was born on November 15, 1933 in Cumberland, Maryland. Kenny served in the Navy on the USS Ross. Kenny worked for General Tire for 40 years before retiring. He kept himself busy by working on appliances and feeding the neighborhood animals up until the day he passed. Kenny was very generous and selfless man who was always helping others.
Kenny was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Hymes; and his son, Richard A. Hymes.
He was survived by his children, Kenneth R. Hymes, Michael B. Hymes, Kim M. Bantz, and Cindy Nelsen-Ritch; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and four of his feline buddies.
Services will be held for Kenny at a later date.
