Kenneth Wayne Jackson

Kenneth Wayne Jackson, 72, went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2017. He was born in Akron, OH to the late Hugh Jackson and Ruby Pardee. He retired from the City of Akron after 31 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Army and a member of the American Legion. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoe, hunting, watching sports and playing cards with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, James.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Thelma; sons, Glenn and Sidney (Angela); granddaughter, Sydney and Angie; grandson, Orion; sisters, Patricia Robertson and Crystal (Tim) Abernathy; sisters in-law, Nola Matheny, Mary (George) Aleksin, Linda (Don) Mathie, and Marlene Funk; brother in-law, David (Lisa) Runyon; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
