Kenneth A. Meyer

Kenneth Alan "Kenny" Meyer, 78, of Akron, passed away on May 2, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1944 to the late Wendell and Betty {Davis} Meyer.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved wife Evelyn {Crites} Meyer, and his son-in-law Doug Sain.

Kenny is survived by his loving daughter Kimberly Sain; son Michael Meyer; grandchildren Zachary, Aaron, Tyler and Isabella; extended family members and friends.

Kenny was in the Army Reserves for 8 years before his honorable discharge, and later worked as a machine mechanic for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., retiring after 36 years of service. In his free time, he loved to fish at Lake Erie, golf and was an avid bowler. Kenny was a member of the Mogadore Moose Lodge and the American Turner Club.

Akron, OH 44305 on Wednesday, May 10 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Those attending the graveside committal service at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn, should meet at Newcomer Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. to line up in procession.
