Kenneth L Moore

June 10, 1956 — July 28, 2022

Kenneth Loren Moore, affectionately known as "Ducks" or "Kenny Moe" fought a mighty great fight, battling Lung Cancer that came on suddenly. He received his wings on July 28th, 2022 peacefully surrounded by family. His great spirit, dance moves, sense of humor will be missed deeply by many.

Born on June 10th, 1956 Kenny is preceded in death by his Father Willie Oscar Griggs his loving mother Idella Davis, his dearest sister Linda V. Williams his ride or die brother John W. Moore.

Kenny is survived by his one and only loving son Kenneth Owens, Three beautiful granddaughters Daniella Owens, Italia Owens, and Kennedi Owens. He is also survived by Twelve Siblings Mary Risper Forney,TX, Robert(Barbara)Moore Texarkana,TX, Helen Spragling, Elton, Micheal, Larry Moore of Akron,OH, Debbie Williams of Stonemountain,GA, Sherry Moore, Veronica Moore, Varetta Dillehay, James Davis, and Maurice Davis all of Akron,OH. Many nieces nephews cousins and friends.

A host of childhood friends Julius Wright, Melvin Wright (Cowboy), Kenny Anderson, Artie Lollard, Greg Ray, Gary Oliver & Family, Longtime friend Gayle Standring.

Kenny attended Akron Public Schools, was employed by Perkins Pancake House, Broadview Developmental Center, J.R. Wheel, Honey Bake Ham, Taco Bell, and Burger King.

Kenny's hobbies were Chess, Checkers, Playing Cards, loved all types of music, horror movies, and dancing showing off his best moves. A sense of humor out of this world, always wanting to a put a smile on your face. A charmer a ladies man for sure.

Kenny loved sports favorite football team all time fave Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers.

A special thank you to his niece NaTashia Stevens for everything you have done for Kenny. You were a great niece and true friend to him. Job well done; you did all you could do. He loved you and deeply appreciated you.

To Kenny you will always be in our hearts, We love you.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd, Akron) where Home Going Services will be held at 12:00pm
