Kenneth J. "Butch" Richards, 75, of Akron, OH passed away quietly on Thursday, December 19, 2019. He was born on August 11, 1944 to parents Kenneth and Lillian Richards in Stow, OH.
Preceding him in death are his parents, brother, Robert Richards; sister Barbara Richards; and dear friend, Doug.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Betty (Christopher) Clay and Mike Richards; grandchildren Danni (Kevin), Makayla, Tyson, Gianna, and CJ; additional family members; Fred (Linda) Johnson, Betty Scott, Dana Nichols, Tammy (George) Hamby and Ben Scott.
Butch had many interests, including auctioning, collecting, volunteering at the Summit County Fairgrounds and the Randolph Fairgrounds. He spent his time working on antique tractors, antiques, and was a true jack of all trades. He loved his grandkids very much, and he had nicknames for everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of Butch's life will be held at a later date by the family.
