Kenneth L. Yonker
Kenneth L. Yonker, 49, passed away July 14, 2005 after a courageous fight with cancer. Kenneth was employed for 25 years as a diesel mechanic at several companies including Kroger Company, Portage County Garage, and Yellow Freight. He was a member of Teamsters 964. In his free time, Kenneth earned his pilot's license and enjoyed camping, boating, water skiing, and spending time with his daughter and best friend, Renee. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Dale Yonker. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Theresa (Eichler) Yonker; mother, Dorothy Yonker of Boardman; daughter, Renee Yonker; sister, Sherry (Bill) Lain of Stuart, FL; brothers, Terry Yonker of Hudson and Denny (Debbie) Yonker of Kent; a host of relatives and friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Bittinger officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Portage County Visiting Nurses.
