Kenneth E. "Kenny" Ferris
Kenneth E. "Kenny" Ferris, 82, passed away on December 11, 2005. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army. Kenny retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 43 years of service. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his wife Janice C. and son Clyde W. He is survived by his loving companion Mabel Lindeman; daughter Angela V. Minear of Akron; sons John K. (Bonnie) of Massillon and Peter C. (Susan) of Mt. Vernon, OH; daughter-in-law Vicky; sister Evelyn Ruggles of Colorado; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation has taken place. Calling hours will be Thursday, 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with a memorial service at 6 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
