Kevin Lee Jones, age 64 of Akron pased away peacefully at Akron City Hospital of Sunday, September 25, 2022. A lifelong resident of Akron, Kevin was born on April 15, 1958 to the late Harold and Irene {Laport} Jones.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded by his brother Curtis Jones in 2015.
Kevin will be loved and dearly missed by his brother Mike Jones; sister Penny Glover; many nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a carefree, happy guy, and his smile was contagious. He loved everybody, and was a great friend to all.
Kevin's family would like to extend their gratitude to Vivienne Powers of R.E.M. and their staff for their wonderful care of Kevin in his final years, and Margaret Kuhn of Summit D.D. for her care and guidance in the years prior.
All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, September 30 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, where Kevin will be laid to rest with his parents.
