Kevin R. Noirot

April 12, 1966 — May 14, 2022

Kevin's adventure on earth ended Saturday, May 14th, 2022, after a day of watching his daughter, Mikaela, play soccer and riding his Harley.

Kevin was born April 12th, 1966, in Barberton, Ohio, while his family was on home leave from Firestone Plantations Co., Harbel, Liberia, West Africa. After two years in Africa, Kevin grew up in Green, Ohio. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior as a young man and continued to study God's word throughout his life.

Kevin proudly served in the Ohio National Guard and then in the U. S. Army as a 13F Forward Observer in several locations including Korea and the Philippines. He graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Kevin put his computer programming and information technology acumen to work in a variety of IT roles for organizations across an array of industries and locations. While employed in IT at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort, he obtained his EMT certification and subsequently served as the Fire and Rescue Chief in Cass, WV.

Kevin lived life to the fullest, with an energy that challenged everyone he knew or just met. He did not know a stranger in his lifetime. He would talk for hours learning people's stories, which meant he was usually late. His passions ran deep, and his talents were many. He loved playing his French horn, woodworking, caving, climbing and a plethora of outdoor activities. The most important activity in Kevin's life was the time spent with his daughter, Mikaela. They spent many hours kayaking, climbing, hiking, solving complex math problems and watching TV. His greatest joy was sharing his heart and knowledge with her.

He is survived by his parents, Collin and Lois Noirot; daughter, Mikaela Noirot; siblings Sheri (Bob) Mathew; Melodi (Joe) Pilz; David (Jody) Noirot; Colleen (Chuck) Demchock; 11 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews; Mikaela's mother, Lisa Noirot; and an army of friends around the globe.
