Kevin R. Nelson, sunrise January 15, 1962 to sunset January 31, 2013, age 51, a lifelong resident of Akron, OH. He was born to Elwood and Doris Nelson. Kevin was a huge buckeye fan, loved detailing cars and spending time outdoors, especially, in West Virginia.
Preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Nelson and grandparents. Survived by his parents; siblings, Danny (Pati) Nelson, Tracy Merlo and Brian (Valorie) Nelson; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Ernie Kemppel officiating. Friends may call 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, prior to the service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kevin's honor may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries or Akron Baptist Temple.
