Kevin Scott Stewart
January 9, 1959 — August 13, 2023
Kevin Scott Stewart of Canton, joined his loving wife, Sheila, in Heaven on August 13, 2023.
Kevin was born in Connellsville, PA to Charles and Geraldine Stewart and moved to Ohio as a young child. He proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. After the military, he served as a Portage County Sheriff's Deputy.
Kevin was employed as a crew member on the Goodyear blimp, working his way up to Assistant Crew Chief. He retired from Meggitt in 2017. In his retirement, Kevin loved spending time traveling and RVing with Sheila and their two sheep dogs, Gracie and Fancy.
Kevin will be greatly missed by his children, Timothy (Tanya) Stewart and Amanda (Chris) Keller and his four grandchildren, Logan, Henry, Pierson and Evelyn. Kevin will be remembered for his great sense of humor and love of chocolate chip cookies. He was always such a jokester.
He also leaves special friends, Kathy and Megan, as well as loving caregivers, Barb and Craig.
In following Kevin's wishes, there will be no public service. Kevin will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made in Kevin's memory to Chapel Hill Community or Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center.
