Kim J. Bisson

Kim Joseph Bisson, age 69, of Green, OH, passed away on July 27, 2024. He was born on September 14, 1954, in Ravenna, OH, and was one of nine children. Kim was the loving husband of Sandra Lees-Bisson for 35 years.

Kim worked at Swagelok for 42 years before enjoying retirement cooking, traveling, eating out, watching Sci-Fi movies, and listening to music from the 1970s. Kim had a deep appreciation for good food, especially pecan rolls, meatballs, seafood, and homemade cheesecake.

Known for his love of rugby and scuba diving in his younger years, Kim stayed active throughout his life. He took pleasure in golfing, watching football and target shooting. During retirement, he cherished the opportunity to spend time building memories with his family, going on cruises with his wife, and fulfilling his dream of visiting Hawaii.

Kim will be remembered for his stubborn yet fiercely loyal and protective nature, always there for his loved ones when they needed him. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his ornery jokes. Kim had a knack for making too much food for holiday dinners and was renowned for his delicious homemade cheesecake and rice dessert.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Lees-Bisson; his children: Jen Williams, Matt, Josh, Paul, Eric, and Alan Bisson; and his grandchildren: Dylan, Braeden, Isaac, Kahlan, Noah, Nora, Noel, Ezekiel, and Evelyn. Kim's legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren.

Kim was a faithful member of the Lutheran faith and attended Faith Lutheran Church in Kent. His favorite quote, "I'm as well as I can be under the circumstances," reflected his optimistic outlook on life.

In his presence, Kim's loved ones were always met with his infectious humor and unwavering support. He had a knack for finding joy in the simplest of things, whether it was watching his favorite TV shows like "Bones" or cooking breakfasts and exploring great food and restaurants.

Kim Joseph Bisson impacted the lives of others with his warm heart and unforgettable personality. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we celebrate his life, let us remember him with the good humor that he brought into our lives.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and remember Kim's incredible life.
