Kimberlee Ann McCarthy, age 56, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 30.
Kim is survived by her husband of 28 years, George McCarthy. Her mother Pamela Griffith and sister Melissa Finnegin. Her 4 children Aaron (Michelle) Cole, Ben (Crystal Wise) Cole, Dan McCarthy and Cass McCarthy.
Her 4 grandchildren Kaiden Cole, Ashton Cole, Callie Wise and Raelynn Cole. Her nieces and nephews Khayla & Craig, Abbae & Sam and Brayden. Along with all of her close friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lyle David Griffith.
Kim was born in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from Tallmadge High School, class of 1983.
She cared about others and was very involved in developing a few websites that supported those who had arthritis, and reached all over the world. She also helped with running fundraisers for local organizations.
Kim enjoyed reading, playing games, bowling and spending time with her friends and family. It brought her so much joy to take care of all her grandchildren, watch their football games, make them breakfast before school, help with costumes for Halloween, getting them gifts for Christmas and birthdays. She would always welcome anyone at any time to her home. She will be forever missed and loved.
Services will be held at Faith Family Church (8200 Freedom Ave, North Canton, OH 44720) on Thursday, October 7.
Calling hours will be from 9am-11am.
Funeral service will begin at 11am.
Committal service to follow at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield (Kent), OH.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Danielle's Dolls and Robbie's Warriors.
