Kimberly L. Congrove Antal, "Kim", age 65, of Randolph, Ohio, died at her home after a long fought battle with metastatic breast cancer on March 25, 2021, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
She was born in Akron on December 4, 1955, the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (nee Gerry) Burkholder.
Kim graduated from Ellet High School in 1974.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, never missing a sporting event, always rooting them on! You will find no better wife, mother, grandmother than this wonderful woman. She left this world better than she found it. Kim is a true hero to her family and friends. This world will never be the same without her. She is a true angel.
Survivors include her husband, Rich Antal, whom she married on August 19, 2006; her daughters, Jenny (Matt) Lewis and Chrissy Fatheree (Camilo Lopera); her grandchildren, Jake, Nate, Richie, David, Kylee and Courtney. Also surviving is her four legged best friend, Megan, her yorkie.
Per Kim's request there will not be any calling hours or services and she will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Epilepsy Center, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 in honoring her grandson, David Fatheree Jr, who has been diagnosed and fights it every day.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
