Kimberly R. Carpenter, 59, of Akron, passed away on July 4, 2018 after a long fought battle with cancer. Kim was born on August 31, 1958 in Akron, Ohio. She loved her husband, daughters, and grandchildren more than anything. Her friends and family will forever miss her contagious laughter and smile.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Torson and brother, Mark Torson.
Kim will be deeply missed by her husband of 24 years, Arthur Carpenter; daughters, Melanie McDonald and Rachel (Patrick Schafer) McDonald; father, Kenneth Torson; grandchildren, Mya Martin, Jesse James Martin, Alana McDonald, Andrew McDonald, and Austin McDonald; and many other family and friends.
Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, to visit on Saturday July 14, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm.
