Kim, 40, lost her three year battle with brain cancer. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Tina Farrer; dad, Billy Glass; and niece, Katie Morrison. She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Mark Newell; son, Brian Cofer; daughter, Zoe Newell; stepdaughters, Jessica and Danielle Newell, all of Akron; grandparents, Jim and Diane Berhern of Springfield; stepbrother, Michael Morrison of Akron; and wonderful grandson, Alex. Thank you to my best friend of 17 years, Monika, for all your love and support. Thank you John and thanks to my sister-in-law, Tammy for being my angel. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with calling hours from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to 472 Watson St., Akron, OH 44305.
