Kimberly Renee Brinkley, 55, of Akron, passed away suddenly on October 4, 2013. Kimberly was born in Akron on March 13, 1958 to the late Thomas and Nancy Shaw. She will always be remembered as a very hard worker and a devoted caretaker for her family. In her free time, Kimberly loved the beach, professional football, and being with her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Melissa Bauer, Amber (James) Gowdy, and Kyle Kirkland; siblings, Tom Shaw, Nanette Campbell, Doreen (Doug) Wexelberg, Chad (Elizabeth) Shaw, Eric Shaw, and Tracy (Ron Kaufenberg) Shaw; grandchildren, Joey Teibel, Bethany Bowman, Kaylee Gowdy, Taylor Mayberry, Jimmy Gowdy, and Lilah Gowdy; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Friday, October 11 from 5-8 p.m.
