Kimberly Ann Sepik-Wainilko

November 24, 1962 — March 7, 2023

Kimberly Ann Sepik-Wainilko, age 60, passed away on March 7, 2023. She was born on November 24, 1962, to the late John and Arline (Hauner) Sepik.

Kimberly chose a career in the culinary industry as a chef to use her talents and love of cooking to create delectable dishes for her family. With her love of cooking, she became an entrepreneur; she opened a deli and catering company where she was able to share her creations with the community. Kimberly loved gardening, she used fresh herbs and vegetables to enhance her meals while using flowers from her garden as the centerpiece on the dinner table. As a hobby she painted the sun, flowers, and cats, while also creating unique wire wrapped jewelry. Kimberly was a good listener with a kind heart, she was a "mother" to all who met her and was given the nickname "Mama Kim," which she cherished dearly. Kimberly was an avid rock-n-roller, she attended countless concerts from The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, U2, and The Who. Kimberly's children from her marriage (1988-2018) to Dale Wainilko, Jackie and Jessica, brought her much joy. Kimberly loved her daughters immensely. Kimberly traveled with her family throughout the years to experience different cultures, food, and art. Especially memorable are family trips to Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia.

To lighten your heavy heart, as Kimberly would always say, "this too shall pass."

Kimberly will be deeply missed by her loving Daughters, Jackie (Dan son-in-law) and Jessica (Kenny son-in-law); by her sisters Ruth Sabol and family, and Cheryl Cernik and family, brother John Sepik and family, her loving-snarky cat companion, Milagro, her loyal dog, Gretta and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and all the other lives she touched.

Per Kimberly's wishes cremation has taken place.
