Klet M. Freeland, Sr.
Klet M. Freeland, Sr., 93, of Suffield, passed away March 27, 2009. Klet was born in Terra Alta, West Virginia on Ocotber 19, 1915. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 44 years of service and resided in Yuma, Arizona for the winter months. Klet is now together again with his wife, Viola. He was also preceded in death by his parents, George and Dessie Freeland; sister, Pauline Wolfe; grandson, Jeff Freeland; and daughter-in-law, Marianne Freeland. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara (Gerald) McBroom and Bonnie (Sub) Samaddar; sons, Klet (Shirley) Jr., David (Kay), and Richard Freeland and Harold (Norma) Wilt; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 followed by a 7 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
