Kyle Russell Withrow, 76, of Akron, passed away on January 23, 2024. He was born on September 6, 1947 to the late Charles and Evelyn {Petrey} Withrow.
In addition to his parents, Kyle is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Withrow; mother- and father-in-law Margaret and Donato "Danny" Emanuele.
Kyle is survived by his loving wife and closest companion, Lora; daughter Tanya (John) Wedlake; granddaughter Taylor Wedlake; brother-in-law Mike (Lorna) Emanuele; niece and nephew Michael Emanuele and Rena Davis and their families.
Kyle was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 102nd Engineer Support Co. during the Vietnam War. He retired from Cargill Salt after 35 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed taking the family out in the camper and spending time in the great outdoors. Kyle enjoyed cars, collecting things of value like cards and coins and animals, especially his pets. His granddaughter Taylor was the apple of his eye, and he loved her more than anything. Kyle had a sharp wit, a wicked sense of humor, and an ornery demeanor that always kept you on your toes! His smile was contagious, and will always be the first thing his family thinks of when they're missing him most.
