Kynan Adonis Fields, "Uncle King", transitioned from this life to be with his creator on February 21, 2022
after a courageous battle with cancer, Kynan was a warrior, if there is a such thing as a good fight, he
fought the good fight.
Born on November 30, 1967, in Ravenna, Ohio to the union of Hugh Fields Sr. and Martha Fields
Kynan accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Church of Christ in Ravenna, Ohio.
Kynan worked construction as a laborer for many years, he could fix and build just about anything or so
he thought he could.
Kynan was a son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, partner, mentor and friend that was loved by
many. He will be truly missed.
Preceded in light by his parents, Hugh and Martha Fields and Grandmother Mary Hill: he is survived by
his siblings; Hugh Jr, LaToya, Tonya, Kayla (Freeman) Vickers, and Rodney. Children; Antonio "Tony"
Brantley and Sharieka "Riek-Riek" Starks. Grandchildren; Tyson, Aniya, Journee, Harmonie, Amore',
Heaven, Malachi, and Elijah. Special little people Daja, DrewDrew and NuNu Magoo. Extended family;
Auntie Karen Rogers; Latesha Rogers 5 children, 4 grandchildren, Tameka Rogers, 6 children, 1
grandchild, Miguel Rogers, 2 children. Special friends; Lavelle Frost and Ramona Walker-Richardson.
Calling hours will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, from 10am until 11am, followed by a homegoing
service at 11am. Pastor Sidney Harris, officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery 2580 Romig Road Akron, Ohio 44320.
A homegoing celebration will take place at 215 East Waterloo Rd, Suite 10 Akron, Ohio 44319.
All are welcome.
