Lana "Pug" Carbaugh, 75, passed in her sleep on April 22, 2018 after a year-long battle with cancer. A life-long Akron resident, Lana graduated from Garfield HS, loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed going to the casinos. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Hollie Carbaugh and parents, Howard and Maxine Roeger. Lana is survived by her best friend, Gene Adolff; children, Howard (Karen) Carbaugh, Kelly (Steve) Hope; grandchildren, Ian and Sidney Hope, Jake and Brody Carbaugh; siblings, Bob (Sandy) Roeger, Sandy (Dick) Kremer, Eddie (Lisa) Roeger, Tammy (Mike) McGhee; and many nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
