Larry A. Werner
Larry A. Werner, 81, of Akron, passed away on June 8, 2012. Larry was born in Akron on February 9, 1931. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from General Tire.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley. He will be deeply missed by his children and family, Victoria (Carl) Luetzelschwaub, Paula (David Sr.) Shutts, Larry P. (Jennifer) Werner, Laurie, and Cyril (Tami) Werner; brothers, Tom and Bob Werner; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Sunday June 17 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton St., Akron, 44312. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church.
