Larry Dale Askea, 75, of Akron, OH passed away on December 31, 2023. He was born in Arab, Alabama on February 7, 1948. Larry served in the Army and was proud of his military associations.
Larry leaves behind his family, including his son Russ (Ranae) Askea, daughter Jennifer Gump, and grandchildren Stephanie Askea, Alex Gump and Brooke Gump, He is also survived by his brother Don (Geri) Askea , sister Gwen (Ken) Harold and two nephews, Danny and Matt (Emily) Askea.
Cremation and a private family gathering will be held at a later date to honor Larry's memory.
In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a charitable cause of your choice in Larry's name.
