Larry Donald Bennett
Larry Donald Bennett, 68, of Akron, passed away January 6, 2008. Larry was born in Akron on January 9, 1939 to the late Audbert and Roxie Bennett. He retired from Krohle Company. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, the North American Hunting Club, and H.O.G. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Bennett and sister, Alice Looper. Larry will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol; daughters, Cheryl Brown, Debbie Thayer, and Tina Bennett; sons, Kenneth (Lori) Bennett and Larry Bennett; stepdaughters, Christine (Rex) Sourwine, Robyn (David) Cottrell, Helen (Tim) Dolan, and Cheryl Elswick; stepsons, Herbert (Barb) Erickson and Verner Erickson; sisters, Irene Corkerton and Louise Erhart; grandchildren, Crystal and Ashley Thayer, Matthew and Rachel Bennett; stepgrandchildren, Kendal Joseph, Joseph and Ryan Hollendonner, Chryssa and Caitlyn Elswick, and Tiffany (Justin) Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Austin and Autumn. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
