Larry Carr

Larry Carr, 61 yrs. old, passed away suddenly on Nov. 26. Larry was born in Akron, OH and graduated from Mogadore High School and Akron U. He was employed by Roadway and ABF Trucking. He was a member and usher at Akron Baptist Temple and a 32nd Degree Mason. Larry served our country in the National Guard. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Evan Carr; grandparents, Johnnie & Myrtle Haller and Harry & Rhoda Carr; and uncle, Steve Kiltau. Larry leaves behind his loving mother, Eloise Carr of Mogadore, OH; daughter, Marla Sullivan and two granddaughters, Lauren & Erica Sullivan all of Ft. Mill, SC; aunt, Suzanne Kiltau of N. Palm Beach, FL; cousins, Sean Kiltau of N. Palm Beach, FL and Laura Jacobs of Huntington, WV; and many dear friends and his beloved cats. Viewing will be Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where services will be immediately following with Rev. Ernie Kemppel of Akron Baptist Temple officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Akron Baptist Temple.
