Larry B. Copen

Larry B. Copen passed away July 14, 2022 unexpectedly. Born in Akron, Ohio to William Richard and Ersel Marie (Litton) Copen, he was a lifelong area resident. Larry greatly enjoyed motorcycles, stock car racing, tractor pulls, movies, French waffles and spending time with his beloved family.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Kevin Bond, Larry Copen, Jr., William (Amber) Copen; grandchildren, Catherine (Terell), Tina (Jordan), Patience, Xenia, Anthony, Kevin, Lily, Emmett: great grandchildren, Ariel, Isabelle; siblings, Jack Warden, Rick (Pam) Copen, Darlene, Gary (Jennifer) Copen; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, July 27 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Larry's name to the charity of their choice.
