Larry D. Easter

Larry D. Easter, 69, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 11, 2024. Born in Richmond, Virginia to Robert Easter, Sr. and Celestine Banks Turner, he resided in the Akron, Ohio area most of his adult life. Larry enjoyed going to church, watching all sports (especially the Steelers), traveling and spending time with his family.

Larry will be sadly missed by his former wife, Cathy Easter; children, Tonya (Kenneth) Sykes, Anthony, Josh (Jessica), Corey (Ashley); 8 grandchildren; siblings, Beverly (Lonnie), Stephanie, Bob, Tim, Vernette, Theo, Carol, Robert, Jr; close friend, Gerri; several cousins, nieces, nephews and his many neighbors who resided in Ahepa 63 Apartments, including the manager, Candace.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of Larry's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Larry's name to the addiction rehab center of their choice.
