Larry P. Gazdik

Larry P. Gazdik, age 78, passed away on January 7, 2023.

He was born in Akron and lived in Stow for the remainder of his life.

Larry was an honorably discharged US Army veteran. He was employed by the US Postal Service for 41 years before his retirement.

Larry enjoyed taking care of his flower beds in his yard. He enjoyed visiting with family and get-togethers with friends.

Preceded in death by his special grandmother, Margaret Gazdik-Roop; his parents, Paul and Eileen (nee O'Herron) Gazdik; and his son, Mark A. Feeney.

Those that mourn his loss are his loving and devoted wife, Maureen Stevens; his siblings, Marilyn Miller, Kevin Miller and his fiance, Elizabeth Baird; special daughter-in-law, Meredith (Judd) Marchand and special grandson, Justin Feeney; his former wife and friend, Elizabeth Feeney; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Larry's special friend, Frank (Annette) Nicotera and the girls.

Special thank you to all the caregivers at Davitas for dialysis. Your special care meant so much to him, he loved you guys.

A special thank you to Hospice of Western Reserve. Thanks for making his last days very comfortable.

Would also like to thank Dr. Edward Parisi, Primary Care, Dr. Jennifer Payne, Oncology and Dr. Preti Chaturvedi, Nephrology, for their special care.

Thanks to everyone who came to Larry's celebration of life party in August in 2022, it meant so much to him. That so many cared for such a special man. His wonderful smile was contagious. He will be forever missed by all that knew him, especially, Toby and Sammy, his four pawed kitties.

A celebration of life was held and cremation will take place.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
