Larry R. Myers, 64, of Uniontown, passed away March 9, 2011. Larry was born in Akron on May 20, 1946. He was an independent contractor and the owner of several Pizza Pan restaurants. While his children were growing up, he coached softball and Peewee football. Above all, Larry was devoted to his God and his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and had a special nickname for everyone. He was caring and generous and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Larry was preceded in death by his father, William Myers; son, Paul Myers; grandson, Kyle Bry; and father-in-law, Ned Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Mindy Myers; children, Dean Myers, Dave Myers, Jon Chestnutwood, Keri (Dave) Stevens, and Larry Myers, Jr.; mother, Catherine Myers; siblings, William (Peggy) Myers, Carol (Rod) Hennacy, and Diane (Joe) Dent; mother-in-law, Dortha Robinson; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 - 1:30 followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service, Pastor Richard Myers officiating, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
