Larry R. Stear

Larry R. Stear, 80, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 25, 2025. Born in Akron, Ohio to Walter Stear and Jackie Jones, he was a lifelong area resident. Larry owned and operated Journeyman Roofing for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and auto auctions and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Denny Stear. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Marianne; daughters, Tonya, Samantha; grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla, Cody, Cassie, Carson; siblings, Sherryl, Cindy, Tammy, Ty, Kimberly; other family and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Larry's name to the animal rescue organization of their choice.
